Karibu is Swahili for “welcome”, and a reflection of our personal travel service and the friendly nature of the people of Rwanda.

Responsible tourism

We subscribe to the responsible tourism ethos. We believe that responsible travel helps local people to earn a fairer income from tourism, supports local conservation and social projects, and ensures that any negative environmental or cultural impacts are reduced.

We believe that tourism should benefit the local communities in the areas that you travel to.

To this end we donate 10% of the money that you spend wih us to good causes, like orphanages and charities operating in Rwanda. To offset our carbon footprint, we have planted 130 acres of trees in Mityana Uganda.
