Bolivia's second largest city, La Paz, is the world's highest capital, at 3,640 meters (11,942 feet). The city's Aeropuerto Internacional El Alto, at 4,057 meters (13,310 feet), is the world's highest commercial airport. Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world. They play football on top of mountains! Bolivia has more indigenous peoples than any other country in the Americas. 

Adventure

Every second of every day is an adventure in Bolivia. Just finding your way from summit to city can be a challenge in itself. Then there are the peaks, the rivers, the treks, the jungles, the gut-bursting mountain-bike descents, and the vast, impenetrable and remote expanses that tug you ever further into the wild. Bolivia Must See's include capital city La Paz, with a side visit to Lake Titicaca, a jaunt down Death Road (if you can stomach it!) to the Jungas region; the lovely altitude cities of Sucre and Potosi and of course Salar del Uyuni - the remarkable and largest salt flats in the world.
