Hi, I am Julie! An American Airlines Flight Attendant

I just got back from a fab family holiday in Thailand.

My husband Ben and our 3 teenage children joined me on an awesome adventure that took us to Krabi, Phuket and Phi Phi island.

We stayed in a range of gorgeous hotels, each with its own unique vibe: from boutique hotels to fun family resorts. This was a wonderful holiday with something for kids and adults alike.

We returned home feeling refreshed and tanned after enjoying the gorgeous beaches, delicious food and quality time together in paradise.

Nothing beats family fun in the sun!

Cha Da Thai Village Resort ~ Krabi

March 22-24

After a very long journey we finally arrived! A refreshing cold towel and a delicious drink welcomed us to paradise. What a treat!

The Cha Da Thai Village Resort is absolutely gorgeous. It is set in the jungle and just up the hill from all the action. You can also walk to 2 beautiful beaches: Ao Nang and Noppharat.

If you are adventurous you can try some rock climbing - get that adrenaline pumping!

You can book the same hotels I did at the bottom of this blog

Enjoy fun water slides for the kids and the young at heart!

Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to chose from, including traditional Thai dishes and western treats.

The Small Krabi

March 24-26

We were greeted with a very warm welcome from this small resort in the middle of it all.

This charming hotel is very close to Ao Nang and Noppharatthara beaches. It has 2 gorgeous swimming pools: one is on the ground level and the other is an impressive roof top pool boasting amazing views over Krabi. Wow!

The rooms are modern and comfortable, and come with all the facilities to make yourself at home.

This small boutique hotel is a true oasis amongst the action.

You are welcome to head to their sister hotel Krabi La Playa to eat breakfast and use their facilities. There are excellent restaurants and plenty to do nearby. You will not get bored in Krabi!

Bring a book and chill at the roof-top swimming pool with epic panoramic views

I would recommend you to splurge and book a pool access room. We had one with a private jacuzzi and it was just perfect: head from your bed into the swimming pool in just a couple of steps! Totally worth the extra dollars.

The resort is by a gorgeous beach, and has 2 beautiful ocean view swimming pools, 2 restaurants, and a snack bar. A long boat tour around the island is a must-do, and can be easily arranged.

There is a small village with a chilled beach vibe just behind the resort. Enjoy some yummy local dishes and finish off a day in paradise with a nightcap at one of the bars.

March 30-April 1

The last stop in our trip was this gorgeous resort in a quiet part of Phuket. We had 2 beautiful, adjoining villas with vaulted ceilings.

The highlight the luxurious outdoor shower - what a treat!

The view from the pool is amazing, and when the sun goes down you can try some yummy dishes at one of the restaurants. They also offer free shuttles to Phuket town and the nearby Nai harn beach.

Make the most of the free shuttle and shop in town

There are plenty of activities on offer to keep you busy: you can try one of the organised beach or botanical walks, or join a tour of the island. If you just want to chill, head to the infinity pool and take in the view!
