Welcome to Saint Vincent & The Grenadines (SVG) which sits in between Barbados, Saint Lucia & Grenada in the Caribbean, and boasts some of the most spectacular beaches in the world and certainly the Caribbean's best.

A multiple island Caribbean paradise just 32 miles long comprising of just 32 exquisite islands, so spectacular, the Tobago Cays, shown above and below, were used for part of the filming of the Pirates of the Caribbean! 

There is no longer any requirement for a quarantine on arrival in SVG! (unless you are showing noticeable and recordable covid symptoms on arrival. See Covid Protocol at the end of this page).   

Probably the most idyllic and truly Caribbean vibe island nation in the region, it has fortunately remained unspoiled and untouched by mass tourism and has always been a bit of a secret gem.

For those looking for huge 500 room hotels and hundreds/thousands of tourists lining the beach with umbrellas, this is not for you! SVG is the 'Real Caribbean' and the 'Real Thing'. Don't miss it.

Accessibility: With the opening of a larger international airport it is now far more easily accessible with non-stop flights from the USA or via the neighboring islands of Barbados, Grenada and periodically Saint Lucia and Direct flights from London (via Barbados with no plane change)

If you love the Caribbean you simply must visit SVG. Stay on the larger Island of Bequia (or mainland St Vincent), and take a visit to the smaller southern Grenadine islands for the day or overnight. About Bequia

Bequia, home to the Plantation Hotel, is the 2nd largest island in the country archipelago (7sqm 18sqkm) and closet to the 'mainland' island of St Vincent and capital Kingstown. As well as the spectacular famed Princess Margaret Beach, it offers many other activities and places of interest.

Bequia is a perfect starting point to explore the southern Grenadine smaller islands by ferry or Catamaran (see further down this page) and is also home to famed Princess Margaret beach just a 5 minute walk from the Plantation Hotel where you can also wine and dine at Jack's Beach Bar & restaurant with a 10% STV Discount.

About the Hotel

With its prime beachfront location on the wonderful island of island of Bequia (just 30-60 minutes by daily ferry from St Vincent for just USD $17 return) at the southern end of Admiralty Bay adjacent to the famous Princess Margaret Beach, the Five Star Plantation Hotel has one of the most breath-taking views on the island.

Looking out across the sparkling blue waters of the shimmering Caribbean Sea, a golden sun tosses her rays into the evening sky. The atmosphere is filled with the scent of blooming flowers, and coconut trees nestled amidst acres of mature land.

As well as her own beach on your doorstep, a 5-minute walk around a small headland and the Belmont Walkway at at sea level, brings you to the famous Princess Margaret Beach and vibrant 'Jacks' Beach Bar & restaurant and onwards to Lower Bay Beach.

Named after the British Queen Monarch's sister Princess Margaret, who visited the island in the 1950's, this beach remains totally unspoilt and the best on the island of Bequia.

Sleep

Within the lush coconut and mango tree grounds are newly renovated beautifully furnished villas and suites, some with self-contained kitchenette facilities equipped with the highest quality of amenities. Views from the rooms are idyllic.

Main Plantation House 
Sea & Garden View Rooms. From the deep blues and pinks to luscious turquoises and greens; the colors in these Plantation House rooms dance your eyes, as do the light ocean breezes that flow through the windows dance your soul.
 

Two rooms have direct sea view, 3 rooms have lush garden views. STV guests receive the best view room on check-in. Maximum occupancy: 2 people

Beach Front Villa
Relax on your terrace as you watch the starry Caribbean sky on a late-night whilst enjoying a glass of wine and breathing in the fresh Island air. Beach Front Villas have kitchenettes.

Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and up to 2 children with extra beds. (if you have 2 children it is generally better to select a 2 bedroom garden villa for more space and also privacy (children have their own room in 2 bed garden villas) 

Listen as the branches of the coconut trees sway and swish like a local folk dance in the breeze. Wake up in the morning and step out and pinch your toes in the golden sand and wet your feet in the warm seawater splayed out in front of your vacation home.

Beach Suite
Bask in the beauty of the Caribbean sunset as it kisses the seas, cascading the skies with hues of oranges pinks, and gold, while lounging on your porch, enjoying one of Bequia Plantation Hotels Signature cocktails. The beauty and structure of these suites transcend, by giving you complete luxury and style in their opulent quarters. Beach Suites have Fridge and Kettle facilities.

2 Bedroom Garden Villas
Just steps from your private Caribbean residence, through the lush gardens and coconut trees, the soft golden sand is lapped by clear waters that melt into the sunset each evening. 2 Bedroom garden villas also have kitchenettes. The spacious main bedroom has a King-sized bed. 

The 2nd bedroom has either a king-sized bed or 2 queen-sized beds. Maximum Occupancy: Up to 5 people. 

​Orchard Suites
Set among the rich vibrant fruit trees where the glowing sun cascades through the leaves and branches, giving a sweet summer scent, the Orchard Suites are far from the busy life you leave at home.
