About the Resort

Located only 500 meters from Seminyak Beach, Blu-Zea Resort by Double-Six is a tropical retreat with a 4-storey lagoon pool, a cinema, spa and swim-up bar. The Balinese-style rooms are nestled in tropical gardens and have a flat-screen TV. 

The traditionally styled rooms have a private balcony or the ground floor terrace with garden or pool views. You'll find a minibar and kimono, tea and coffee refreshed daily, and of course, 24 hour room service.

All Right for Night Flights
For whatever the reason, it seems common to get stuck with a night flight home from Bali – especially for those Australia-bound. So, while pitiful and inexperienced travellers may check out and then hang around the lobby until nightfall, head to the beach with suitcases in hand, or pay full price for a half-day in a hotel, guests at Blu-Zea Resort by Double-Six need not suffer any such indignities.

The expansive, four-tiered swimming pool is the centrepiece of our resort, with its own beach lined with colourful beach loungers and umbrellas. The swim-up Sunken Pool Bar is a hive of social activity that offers refreshing signature cocktails, a tantalizing menu and daily events including nightly bingo.

Facilities

Blu-Zea Resort by Double-Six offers three separate dining experiences: To ensure that each guest starts the day off right, an international buffet breakfast is served daily in The Beach Restaurant. Serving Western and Indonesian cuisine, breakfast is the perfect opportunity to sample a few mouth-watering local dishes, or feel free to order your favourite egg dish at the omelette station.

There’s no better place to be in the afternoon then at the Sunken Pool Bar, serving refreshing signature cocktails, soft drinks and a casual poolside lunch and tapas menu.

The lagoon-style, four-tiered Swimming Pool is open to all ages and offers a variety of engaging activities. Find a cosy beach lounger on our man-made beach under a shady umbrella or join in some afternoon fun as one of our pool pillow fights gets underway.

A step-down from the lobby housed in a stylish Balinese pavilion, The Spa is beautifully appointed with private treatment rooms, expertly trained therapists, and botanical ingredients sourced from around the globe. Enjoy a pampering massage or wellness treatment that utilizes hand-made creams and scrubs, offering the most nourishing results imaginable.

The Spa
After a long day at the beach, exploring the island, or simply lazing around by the pool, treat your mind and body to a relaxing session at The Spa. Designed with a sensual Asian aesthetic, charming lily ponds and soothing streams foster relaxation and rejuvenation.

Choose from an indulgent variety of authentic Balinese treatments using hand-made botanical creams, scrubs and masks. Contemporary manicures and pedicures offer the latest hues from Revlon and OPI. The Spa offers guests a refreshing timeout, delicate beautification, and indefinitely, a calm to be remembered.

Gym
With glorious panoramic views overlooking the sparkling aqua waters of the swimming pool and the blooming foliage of our tropical gardens, the fully air-conditioned Fitness Centre is open daily between 6.00am to 09.00pm with a wide range of fitness machines and equipment. Since Blu-Zea Resort by Double-Six understands how important the little touches mean to your holiday experience, chilled hand towels are provided in the gym’s personal refrigerator.

Reception Desk
Our friendly Reception Desk team is on duty 24-hours-a-day and can provide assistance with late checkouts, room requests, international power adapters, foreign currency exchange, airport transfers, taxi rides, etc.

The Tennis Court
An outdoor tennis court is available day or night, adding another fun activity to your Bali itinerary. Visit our Guest Service team for further details.

Cinema
Plan on watching more than just a movie as you behold a projected cinematic experience in our fully-air-conditioned, thirty-seat private cinema! The Guest Cinema is open by reservation between 8:30am and 9.30pm, and if you don’t happen to bring along your own DVD, feel free to browse and borrow from our large film library available at Guest Activities.

Kids Corner
Our expert child-minders have a natural flare for their work. Spot them in the garden painting giant eggs, swimming beachside at the pool, relaxing on some beanbags, or playing games that result in a lot of laughter. Swimming Pool
The two-part, tiered lagoon pool with private, white-sand beach is open from 7.00 a.m. to 10,00 p.m., daily. Perfect for a variety of activities including swimming laps, lounging in the shallows or participating in a lively game of pool basketball. Appropriate swimwear must be worn at all times and topless bathing is not permitted.

The latest Wireless Broadband Technology is available in all guest rooms and public areas, free of charge! For those without laptops, desktop computers are available within the fully air-conditioned Guest Activities area.

​Pool Towel Counter
If you’d like to go for a splash, plush pool towels are available from the Pool Towel Counter just off of the main path, near the central bridge. Bring along and redeem your pool towel voucher, and remember that the pool is open from 7.00am until 9.30pm.

Dining and bars

Sunken Pool Bar
Swim up to our unique Sunken Pool Bar and order your favourite beverage, or maybe try a newly concocted signature cocktail prepared by one of our in-house mixologists. Paired with some tantalizing Asian tapas or a good ole’ cheeseburger and you have the ingredients for an ideal afternoon.

Open daily from 9.00am until late, Sunken is the afternoon family hangout for light bites, lunch, coffee, ice cream, coconuts, and socializing with old or new friends. Stick around for a hilarious game of Bingo, Trivia, and of course, two very ‘Happy Hours’ that offer irresistible specials. Comfortable bar stools surround bi-directional flat screens to ensure all major sporting events get their due attention.

Coconut Bar
Bamboo stall with alang-alang roof, made the Coconut Bar a perfect addition on the Man-Made Beach Pool section. The tiki style bar is serving coconut based cocktails. Those who likes their drinks a bit more tropical-ish, there is pineapple based options. Available from11 am to 6 pm daily.

The Beach Restaurant
Offering a picturesque view out towards the pool’s white sand beach lined with colourful beach umbrellas, and looking out through lush, green foliage and blooming tropical flowers, The Beach Restaurant is open for sundry breakfast buffets, relaxed lunches, and ambient candlelit dinners. The cuisine is a thoughtful selection of Western and Balinese fare, and the music is always apt.
