A recent $12 million renovation has made Couples Sans Souci more sumptuous than ever. The award-winning 150-suite resort reopened to enthusiastic guest reviews on August 1 with the final reveal expected in December.

In addition to the suites, additional upgrades and new amenities include:

•   New Asian-themed specialties are served steps from the shore.
•   Java, a new coffee bar off the lobby where guests can enjoy Blue Mountain coffee and signature pastries.       
• A new massage hut alongside the Lily Pond and upgraded spa gazebos.
• An expanded and enhanced Balloon Bar featuring additional space for nightly entertainment. 
• Updates to multiple restaurants and bars, including a new open kitchen concept and fine wine display in Casanova Restaurant.

Location 

Couples Resorts offers complimentary transfers to Couples San Souci in Ocho Rios to and from the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay (MBJ). The drive from Montego Bay airport to Couples Sans Souci is approximately one hour and forty minutes.  Complimentary transfers from the Ian Fleming International Airport, Ocho Rios (OCJ) which is a quick 10-minute drive from the property are also offered free of charge.

Accommodation

Designed to capture the atmosphere of a soothing and luxurious island retreat, the resort’s upgraded suites feature all-new warm wood furnishings, natural textures, and pastel pops of color. Highlights include new sliding doors of double-paned glass leading to furnished balconies or patios, newly redesigned bathrooms with large walk-in showers clad in fine Italian porcelain, and new LED lighting.

Deluxe Garden Suite
Nestled into the hillsides and surrounded by lush tropical foliage, our Deluxe Garden Suites are quintessential island retreats with soft pastels, blond wood furniture, and woven wicker accents. Sliding doors lead to beautiful private balconies with a true rainforest feel, while walk-in showers freshly clad in Italian porcelain add a touch of luxe. These suites are located in buildings C, D, E and G.

Ocean Suite
As bright and airy as their island setting, the Ocean Suites exude fresh coastal style. Generous master bedrooms, breezy private furnished balconies with ocean views, and spacious walk-in showers surrounded by Italian porcelain are highlights of these sublime suites. These suites are located in buildings C, D, E, F, and G in close proximity to the Balloon and Martini Bars and Casanova Restaurant.

Beachfront Suite
In the resort's most popular accommodation, pastel pops of color mix with warm wood furnishings and natural textures to create soothing island retreats. These large, light-filled Beachfront Suites immediately overlooking the resort’s lush tropical lawn and beach have spacious master bedrooms with living areas. These suites are located near the Bella Vista and Palazzina Restaurants, adjacent to the main pool and the swim-up pool bar.

Premier Ocean Suite
The airy and elegant Premier Ocean Suites are the ultimate island escape. Freshly updated in soft pastels and textured wicker furnishings, these spacious suites feature extended living areas that set a tranquil stage for relaxation. Highlights include private balconies with expansive Caribbean Sea views and master bathrooms with large walk-in showers finished in fine Italian porcelain. These suites are located in buildings D, E, F and G.

Penthouse Ocean Suite
Ideal for an extended stay, our spacious Penthouse Ocean Suite reflects the residential comfort and classic style of a bespoke Ocho Rios hideaway. They feature either an open floor plan or a separate living room leading to a large private balcony with magnificent views of the Caribbean Sea. Some Penthouse Ocean Suites have outdoor showers and terrace tubs. These hillside suites are located on the top floors of buildings C, D, E and G.

Beach Grill & Bella Vista
For casual dining on the beach, enjoy grilled fare and fresh salads for lunch at our Beach Grill and authentic Jamaica specialties for a delectable dinner at Bella Vista. Open for lunch and dinner and late-night snacks. 

Casanova
In a style of understated colonial elegance, Casanova's menu features an eclectic mix of international cuisine and Caribbean ingredients for elegant dining indoors or out. Open for dinner (reservations required)

Dine In-Suite
From fresh fruit plates to pan-fried snapper, in-suite dining is at your pleasure. Dine in the privacy of your own room with breakfast, lunch, or dinner served in your suite.

Veggie Bar
Delight with our fresh juice of the day, fruit smoothies, veggie dips, and delectable healthy salads and sandwiches. Open for lunch.
