Our luxury all-inclusive resort in Jamaica, Couples Swept Away offers a secluded paradise for couples to relax and enjoy, whether you’re taking in an unhurried meal in an al fresco café, exploring the seven miles of pristine sandy beach, enjoying one of our fantastic island excursions or just having a well-deserved lounge by the pool, Couples Swept Away, Negril will steal your heart and free your mind.

Rooms & Suites

Couples Swept Away is situated on Negril’s famous seven-mile beach with beautiful backdrops and the warm, turquoise Caribbean Sea. Our accommodation is elegantly decorated, with discreet sophistication, overlooking the sea or tropical gardens. Every room and suite features a ceiling fan and air conditioning for your comfort and, naturally, the sumptuous beds are covered in crisp, white linen of the finest quality.

Garden Verandah
Each spacious suite has cool tiled floors, cedar shutters and French doors opening onto a comfortably furnished balcony. Located along the resorts perimeter in close proximity to the entrance and the road.

Great House Verandah
Located in the Great House just steps from the Cabana Grill, Aura Night Club, Feathers, Patois Patio and swim-up pool bar, our ocean-facing Great House Verandah Suites offer partial views of the Caribbean.

Atrium Room
High cedar ceilings, wrap-around shutters and views over our lush tropical gardens. Some suites have glass screens and private, furnished balconies. We didn’t bother putting TV sets in these suites. Nobody ever watched them.

Ocean Verandah
Get a little closer to the beach. Wake up to the scent of the glorious sea air infused with the aroma of our tropical gardens. Take your breakfast on your private furnished balcony. And then just wander the short distance to the beach.

Beachfront Suite
Floor-to-ceiling shutters, ceiling fans and air-conditioning make these suites the perfect place to relax and enjoy each other’s company. As its name would suggest, these low-rise suites are close to the beach and offer the picture of serenity. Furnished private balcony or veranda as standard.

Beachfront Verandah Suite
These suites, at first, second and third levels, open directly onto the soft, white, powdery sands of the fabled Seven Mile Beach. With luxury private balconies with clear and unobstructed views of the Caribbean Sea, you’ll be in second heaven.

Great House Ocean Suite
There are only four Great House Ocean Suites. They’re close by to the resort’s restaurants and give amazing views of the Caribbean Sea and Seven Mile Beach. You’ll benefit from a beautifully furnished balcony with chaise lounges and other highlights, including a wet bar and luxurious bathroom with separate shower and deep bath.

The Palms

Breakfast features a range of fresh fruits, pastries and breads that would be the envy of any French connoisseur. Lunch and dinner brings you crisp, tangy salads and locally caught seafood.

Patois Patio

Partake of Latin and Caribbean flavours, any time of the day, here at the Patois Café. As well as an ocean view, you can have an oven view – our wood-burning pizza oven. And our fresh toppings can’t be topped. No pizza like it.

Seagrape Cafe

Juices, smoothies, sandwiches, healthy veggies and dips. Pop by and have a snack and relax with the ocean view.

Cabana Grill
ALL DAY / LATE NIGHT
If you haven’t had our speciality jerk chicken in the Caribbean, you can’t say you’ve Cari-been. Right by the pool, you’ll also discover a mouth-watering selection of sandwiches and snacks. Open til late.

Lemon Grass

Thai-style food at its finest. Gents: no need to wear a tie; we’re relaxed here in Jamaica.

Private Dining

Dining on the beach at Couples Swept Away is an experience that will make your romantic stay. The perfume of the tropical gardens, the aroma of the sea and the personal service of your own, private waiter. Three courses, immaculately prepared and served. And the sand beneath your feet, the starlight in your loved one’s eyes and, after a hard day’s relaxing, touring or water activities, you’re safe in the knowledge that you can retire to your crisp, white, turned-down linen. Or, if the fancy takes you, join one of the many pool-side parties, or relax with a cocktail or two at one of our bars. There’s something for every couple.

Bars & Nightlife

At Couples Swept Away, we have an array of different bars for cheeky daytime drinking or dancing the night away. For something special, take a Couples Sunset or Couples Mojito cocktail. Post-dinner, we offer all sorts of live music and entertainment from karaoke to Jamaican steel bands to European and American hits. And the piano bar, where you can have a sing-along, transforms into a vibrant night-club after dark.

Beach Bar Flag Service
When you’re happily lazing on the beach, the last thing you want to be doing is getting up and queuing for a drink. Just put your flag up instead and one of our friendly beach waiters will be with you momentarily.

Wellness Bar
Aptly named, the Wellness Bar features a range of healthy juices, smoothies and snacks. It overlooks the Olympic-sized swimming pool and the tennis courts.

Swim-up Pool
On the south side of the resort, you’ll find the swim-up bar. No need to get out of the water to get served. As its name would suggest, you just swim up and take your favourite premium-brand drink or cocktail.

Sunset Bar
Climb aboard our complimentary minibus and go to the Sunset Bar at the top of some of Negril’s famous cliffs. Your food and drink isn’t included in your stay because this is outside the resort – but it’s well worth a little extra to watch the sun go down over the sea. Don’t forget to tip your driver if you think he’s done a good job.

Bamboo Bar
Our boutique bamboo bars are spread around the main beach. You’re never far from quenching your thirst as you walk along the powdery sand.

Main Bar
It’s intimate and comfortable and the ideal place to meet other couples during your stay. Like a miracle, it converts into a piano bar in the evenings with live entertainment five nights a week. You’ll find it just off the lobby.

Patois Bar
Take one of our bartenders’ pre-dinner specials – they certainly know what they’re doing. Watch the sun go down and then head to one of our delightful restaurants. After dinner, there’s only one thing to do: come back again.

Martini Bar
How do you have your martini? With a twist or an olive? Shaken or stirred. Whatever – there’s an almost endless list of Martini recipes. And nightly entertainment will get your feet tapping, including our amazing Jamaican steel band every Wednesday night. There’s a billiards room next door, too.

Aura Bar
Imbibe in a more energetic setting in the Great House upstairs – much more of a night-clubby feel. Couples Swept Away’s live house pianist ‘Ultimate Chocolate’ will be playing hits old and new. Then a top DJ will take over to prompt you to dance your feet off into the early hours.
