* STV Super Specials are STV's usual SUPER Discounted Special rates, GENUINELY and STRICTLY ONLY available for TRAVEL INDUSTRY Employees resident globally, and are classified as an Employee Benefit. (Available to Airline, Travel Agent, Tour Operator, ATC & Airport Handling Agent Employees)

* You must be a Travel Industry Employee and you must be registered with STV (Free) to be able to book our STV Super Special rates.

* Minimum one Travel Industry Employee per room. You are required to present your I.D. / proof of employment on check-in.

* There is no limit to the number of bookings per year you can book (unless stated otherwise)

* Friends and Family cannot book STV Super Special Rates. They can accompany you but must stay in the same room as you (some hotels permit an extra room for Friends & Family and if so this will be stated on the hotel page, but you must always be included in the booking and be staying at the hotel).

* PAYMENT & CANCELLATION: With STV Super Special rates you only need to pay a very small refundable deposit within 14 days of making your booking, or right away if travelling short notice, and the main balance of the booking is paid direct to the hotel, usually on check-in. It is FREE to cancel or amend dates for your booking, often right up to and including the day of check-in, making these rates great for standby travelers (see each hotels payment & cancellation terms). When you make a booking request with STV Super Special rates and it is confirmed, you do not need to go ahead with the booking and can cancel immediately without paying a deposit if you wish.

About the Resort

As a five-star, all-inclusive resort in Egypt’s flourishing Madinat Makadi area, Jaz Makadi Oasis Resort truly is a holiday oasis of comfort and tranquility. The resort sits back about a 250 meters from the private beach operated by the Madinat Makadi resort complex.

The experience

Jaz Makadi Oasis Resort is the single largest resort in the Madinat Makadi complex, but it still provides personalized service for guests.

This is due, in part, to the breadth of facilities available across the complex, allowing individual resorts to focus more on their guests and less on the upkeep of a single, all-inclusive resort property. The result is an intimate and luxurious holiday underpinned by a vast collection of facilities and services.

Exceptional facilities are a shining example of what the Madinat Makadi resort complex does right. Jaz Makadi Oasis Resort offers a host of facilities, including 24-hour front desk services, unlimited internet access during the stay in public areas, laundry service and a shuttle bus to and from Hurghada city centre both at an extra charge.

There are gift and souvenir shops located right on hotel grounds, with more in the surrounding area. Families with children will find plenty to excite children, including the action-packed Kids’ Club. Finally, the leisure facilities at Madinat Makadi are second to none, with a wide range of land- and water-based sports catered for.

Leisure facilities

Jaz Makadi Oasis Resort is fully equipped for an active Red Sea holiday, with facilities for water sports, land-based sports and wide range of entertainment. Some facilities are specific to the resort, while others are integrated into the larger Madinat Makadi complex.

The showpiece of the resort is three large swimming pools fringed with sun loungers and shaded areas for all-day relaxing. one pool is heated during the winter, and guests can order snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic beverages from the adjoining El Shamousa pool bar.

But the resort’s star attraction is the private beach, where a range of water sports including sailing and paddle-boating are possible. The surfing centre hires out boards and windsurfing equipment and can also arrange lessons. Meanwhile, the dive centre organizes and helps guests to get certified and arranges equipment hire and charter boat services for offshore reef excursions.

For land-based activities, guests can visit the gym and health club, which is fully equipped with exercise equipment as well as a steam room and sauna and Jacuzzi, shops and shuttle bus service to and from Hurghada all at an extra charge. Guests can also play tennis, billiards, table tennis, darts and boccia. Facilities for archery and squash are also on site.

Children have just as much to get excited about at Jaz Makadi Oasis Resort. To begin with, they have their own swimming pool to splash around in – and just like the adults’ pool, it’s heated in the winter. There’s also a supervised play area. Golf

While Madinat Makadi is, perhaps, best known for its stunning slice of the coast, there’s another local treasure to enjoy. The magnificent Makadi Golf Course is beautifully designed and expertly maintained and includes a clubhouse and pro shop.

It features an 18-hole, 72-par championship course along with a 9-hole, par-3 executive course & 3 designated championship training holes, voted Egypt’s No1 Golf Resort 2014 (World Golf Awards). The course was designed by John Sanford of Sanford Golf Design and was built to USPGA standards. It remains one of the longest, most challenging courses in the entire region.

Diving

Makadi Bay is located south of Hurghada, along a stretch of the Red Sea that’s championed around the world for its prime scuba diving opportunities. Some of the dive sites in this area are easily amongst the best in the world, so it’s no surprise that divers flock here.
