Day 1 ~ San Jose

Pick-up at the International Airport and transfer to the Hotel of your choice. Rest of day on your own to enjoy the hotel amenities and facilities.

Day 2 ~ San Jose

Breakfast at your hotel. Take advantage of the hotel facilities and amenities.

San Jose City Explorer:
After we have seen the capital’s main attractions, our first stop will be in the impressive Pre-Columbian Gold Museum and the beautiful National Theater where we will have a guided visit through these cultural gems. After our visit, the tour continues to the western section of San Jose: La Sabana Metropolitan Park, Costa Rican Contemporary Art Museum or the first International Airport in Costa Rica, the National Gymnasium, the Comptroller’s office, residential area of Rohrmoser, Nunciatura, Nobel Peace prize winner Oscar Arias Sanchez’s home, Rohrmoser Boulevard and Pavas section. At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity of visiting a interesting Shopping place where you will be able to buy a souvenir of your visit of San Jose. On Sunday, the National Theater is closed and we will only see the outside part and then visit the Pre-colombian Gold Museum

Day 3 ~ San Jose

Breakfast at the hotel. Choose and enjoy one of the optional activities. At the end of the day, you can enjoy hotel facilities and amenities.
Rainforest Aerial Tram
Only 50 minutes from San José on the highway to Limón, the Rain Forest Aerial Tram offers one of the most impressive and unique parks of ecotourism and investigation in the world. Visitors literally travel 90 minutes between the grove forest, the canopy and its gardens discovering plants and animals that are usually hidden, a world little known, but with incredible beauty, and extraordinary biological diversity. The “Gondola” (Aerial Tram) tour is a modified “Ski Lift” that covers a distance of 2.6 kilometers through the Costa Rica rainforest. The main idea of the tour is to show visitors the different levels of a rainforest, specifically the most difficult level to reach, up to now, and the least scientifically known part of the forest the canopy (the tree tops).
Pacuare Whitewater Rafting
Pacuare is considered the most beautiful river in Costa Rica, and worldwide one of the best whitewater rafting rivers due to the scenic beauty, waterfalls, hiking trails and diversity of flora and fauna, among which participants will observe blue morpho butterflies, sloths, tucans, red frogs and great variety of birds. Thus, nature is present throughout the route. This is a 3.5-hour journey with approximately 18 miles length.

Manuel Antonio National Park
This National Park is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the country. It is a combination of a paradisaical beach of crystalline waters with coral reefs, bordered by exuberant vegetation and the natural captivations of the tropical humid forest. Its beaches are counted among the best of the country, where the snorkeling and the surf are very popular. On the way to Manuel Antonio along the coastal line, you will enjoy nice views and will be crossing plantations of African palm and picturesque villages along the Pacific coast.

You will reach the port of Quepos a few minutes after the National Park. At our arrival we will hike to the park, crossing a creek to access the park, since this park is closed to vehicles. Once at the park, it is possible to simply enjoy the beach, take a sun bath, or a nature walk though the park’s trails, which will allow you to observe the abundant flora and fauna of the park. On your walk see several species of monkeys, iguanas, birds, and maybe, the three toed sloth. One of the trails borders Cathedral Point, from which the sight of the park and the sea is spectacular.

Day 4 ~ San Jose

Breakfast at the hotel. Enjoy the facilities and amenities. We will transfer you to the airport at the prearrange time.
