This 5-star hotel offers 90 rooms with a recently erected building adding 50 rooms to the inventory, featuring the deluxe rooms as the lead in category. A reception area, two food and beverage outlets, a bar, a board room-style meeting room, games room, a spa, a gym and the administrative office completes the picture. The hotel was one of the first hotels at Batu Ferringhi, which translates into ‘Foreigners Rock’ and has a rejuvenated aura after it undertook restoration.

The hotel features three dining options. The Bungalow offers al fresco dining by the beach, beginning with a buffet breakfast spread. Throughout the day it serves from its menu of traditional favourites, ranging from colonial-style steaks and burgers, to pasta and Penang wok-fried noodles, or poolside snacks of The Bungalow's signature Hainanese specialties.

The Matsu Restaurant offers casual cuisine with a distinct authentic Japanese flavours set in a sophisticated, relaxed environment. Enjoy the freshest fish and seafood, indulge in a selection of succulent meats grilled on their Japanese charcoal grill, or bring Matsu to the beach as a picnic with their bento boxes.
