Read and learn about Nandini Jungle Beach Resort & Spa and then sample first hand at special industry employee rates. You can then help the hotel and promote and spread the word when you return home.
The Nandini Bali Jungle Resort and Spa offers a truly luxurious experience in a pure and natural environment.
The hotel is located in the Payangan area of Ubud, approximately 35 km from Denpasar. Situated amidst the central Balinese foothills, and surrounded by rice fields, Ubud is one of Bali’s most popular spots and a cultural centre. Known as the art capital of Bali, this once tranquil destination has seen a significant influx of tourism in the last decade. However, despite the bustle of the inner city, tranquillity can still be found in surrounding areas such as Payangan. Sitting roughly 300 metres above sea level, Ubud enjoys a more comfortable, cooler climate than the plains to the South.
Modelled on a traditional Balinese village and constructed from natural materials, the Nandini Bali Jungle Resort and Spa effortlessly combines the luxury of a five star resort with the raw beauty of its jungle surroundings. The resort is equipped with everything you need for ultimate relaxation, including comfortable rooms, an excellent restaurant, a pool, and spa facilities. The real hero however is the location, set amongst rice fields and lush green balinese jungle.
Experience traditional Balinese hospitality at its very best at the ‘Wild Ginger’ restaurant. Fresh local produce (some of which is grown and harvested from the resort’s very own gardens) is used to create a menu offering a range of excellent Balinese dishes. Freshly squeezed juices are also available throughout the day. The butler service means you can enjoy dinner from the comfort of your own villa.
The resort has 18 traditional villas built into the hillside, with Balinese style and culture in mind. Each offer stunning and uninterrupted views over the river gorge, and a feeling of luxurious seclusion from the outside world. Rooms come equipped with either a king sized bed of 2 singles.
Amenities include; air conditioning, balcony, mini bar, tea/ coffee, complimentary fruit basket, room safe, wireless Internet, DVD player / cable/ satellite TV.
There are 3 room types: Nandini Jungle View, Nandini Sunrise Villa and New Panoramic View.
No trip to Ubud would be complete without a traditional Balinese massage, and the resort’s onsite spa offers the complete experience. Immerse yourself in a warm bath surrounded by sweet smelling tropical flowers, and drift away to the sounds of the jungle. Enjoy a traditional Balinese herbal tea after your Spa treatment.
Ubud offers a plethora of other activities, including elephant safari rides and visits to the monkey forest. A rafting trip down the Ayung river takes in breathtaking sights and makes for an exciting adventure. It is also an opportunity for some informative sightseeing, as some of the more leisurely sections pass through lush tropical forests and beautiful Hindu shrines.
Experience rural Bali first hand on a guided trek through local villages. Learn about the traditional farming methods still employed today and get a unique insight into Balinese life and culture. Cycling is also popular and guided tours pass through lush valleys, villages, century-old temples, and rich green rice fields.
