CAT CLUB CARES

It’s in a hotel’s character to take care of people and the communities where we operate. The Catamaran Hotel was built by Sir Hugh Bailey a son of Falmouth Area. Now owned and managed by his daughter Feona Bailey she is passionate about giving back, especially to the children of the surrounding communities of Falmouth. She launched Cat Club Cares and has adopted the following schools:

The mission of Cat Club Cares is to transform the learning environment of the communities’ children as well as support the teachers who are tasked with empowering them through education. Over the years donations have been made to the schools and Cat Club Cares initiative allows you our guests to make a lasting impact in our communities. You can support by donating school supplies, books, volunteering to read to class, sponsoring an etiquette course or host a mentoring session.

Volunteer to Read
Spend an hour reading and engaging with a group of students from Pre-K to Grade 6. Read your favourite book or something grade relevant.

Sponsor an Etiquette Course
Have you ever been stumped by which fork, knife, spoon or glass to use when out to dinner? Cat Club Cares Etiquette Course will teach the Grade 6 students the correct way to use silverware and handle themselves in a formal dining setting. Course will include 2 etiquette sessions and a formal lunch or dinner experience.

Host a Mentoring Session
Do you love giving back to young people? Do you have ideas and solutions you’d like to share with young people? Are you a good listener? Are you a motivator? Then select one of our adopted schools and host a mentoring session or sessions whilst on vacation.

Donate School Supplies
Help our teachers help our students by packing with a purpose for your visit to Antigua & Barbuda. Our adopted school would be appreciate donations of books and school supplies.
