An Island Paradise like no other

An all time favorite with airline staff in the Caribbean, The Dominican Republic is an incredible island paradise in the heart of the Caribbean. Breathtaking Beaches, Mountains and valleys make up a diverse photogenic land.

Here you can dance to the pulse pounding thrill of the merengue, renew in the luxurious and diverse hotels, explore ancient relics of centuries past, delight in delicious Dominican gastronomy or enjoy ecotourism adventures in their magnificent national parks, mountain ranges, rivers and amazing beaches. We love it and actually I have been there almost a dozen times!

HOW TO GET THERE ~ Casa De Campo Resort & Villas 

Its simple! Fly in to either Punta Cana PUJ International Airport (45mins) or Santo Domingo SDQ Las Americas International Airport (1 hour) or La Romana LRM International Airport if you can find a flight into this airport (not so many but it's only 5-10 minutes from resort, take local taxi),

My family and I flew into Punta Cana and took a Mozio transfer which takes you to directly to the resort very cheaply or you can grab a cab! Click on the Map to expand view!

LUXURIOUS ROOMS TO SLEEP!

We had our guaranteed upgrade and received 2 Deluxe balcony rooms which were gorgeous and the bathrooms were modern with a tub and a huge walk in shower, we were given FREE 2 golf carts to use and get around this enormous resort during our stay ~ you will need your drivers license to have you name added as one of the drivers. Our rooms were connecting rooms which was great will 3 teenagers and looked out onto one of their 3 beautiful and luxuriently green golf courses.

'THE BEACH'

Minitas Beach is very close by and easy to reach with your personal golf cart so you can all go where you want when you want making it so convenient. Here you can enjoy a sea of water sports! Choose from snorkeling, kayaking, hobie cats, windsurfers and paddleboats. The fabulous Beach Club by Le Cirque, located right on Minitas Beach, offers superb dining overlooking the Caribbean Sea! 

ANYONE FOR GOLF?

Not being golfers ourselves but I know a lot of airline and travel indisurty staff are, so its' definately worth a word here! At Casa de Campo Resort and Villas, golf isn’t just a pastime, it’s a way of life we are told. With 3 championship courses carved from the earth along the pristine Caribbean Sea – fringing the ocean, overlooking the Chavón River, and winding throughout our spectacular grounds, it’s no wonder this classic sport is so popular here.

Even for non golfers like my family, the scenery is truly dramatic and beautiful as a backdrop.

A FINAL SUMMARY

The staff at Casa de Campo were truly wonderful and very helpful. The resort has so much to do and chose from you will never be bored and there really is something for everyone. In fact I haven't even covered all of the activities available at the resort above, there is also tennis, a spa, sports academy and marina.....the list is almost endless. LOTS of extra FREE activities exclusively for Staff Travel Voyage's airline and travel industry staff guests and of course and incredible 'Super All Inclusive rate' ~ go see for yourself!

​We spent 3 wonderful days there and can’t wait to go back,  I will go for longer next time and think at least 6 nights is a good amount of time and enough to explore the whole and truly extensive resort. I'm sure you will all love it as much as we did and thanks for reading my blog!
