What do these rates mean?

* STV Super Specials are STV's usual SUPER Discounted Special rates, GENUINELY and STRICTLY ONLY available for TRAVEL INDUSTRY Employees resident globally, and are classified as an Employee Benefit. (Available to Airline, Travel Agent, Tour Operator, ATC & Airport Handling Agent Employees)

* You must be a Travel Industry Employee and you must be registered with STV (Free) to be able to book our STV Super Special rates.

* Minimum one Travel Industry Employee per room. You are required to present your I.D. / proof of employment on check-in.

* There is no limit to the number of bookings per year you can book (unless stated otherwise)

* Friends and Family cannot book STV Super Special Rates. They can accompany you but must stay in the same room as you (some hotels permit an extra room for Friends & Family and if so this will be stated on the hotel page, but you must always be included in the booking and be staying at the hotel).

* PAYMENT & CANCELLATION: With STV Super Special rates you only need to pay a very small refundable deposit within 14 days of making your booking, or right away if travelling short notice, and the main balance of the booking is paid direct to the hotel, usually on check-in. It is FREE to cancel or amend dates for your booking, often right up to and including the day of check-in, making these rates great for standby travelers (see each hotels payment & cancellation terms). When you make a booking request with STV Super Special rates and it is confirmed, you do not need to go ahead with the booking and can cancel immediately without paying a deposit if you wish.

* Remember STV Super Special Rates are only available for Airline & Travel Industry Employees as an employee benefit and are the lowest rates you will ever find.

* True Airline & Travel Industry Employee rates are known as ON REQUEST. This means you choose your hotel and Super Special rate and submit your booking request through our website and you will receive a response back from the hotel as soon as possible. Because the rate is so highly discounted, the hotel 1st needs to check if they have enough spare rooms to agree to let you pay these exclusive Travel Industry Employee rates. The hotels will often reply to you the same day but be prepared to wait up to 24-48 hours ~ It's worth it!

* BEWARE of other Interline/Agency companies telling you they offer Genuine Airline & Travel Industry Employee rates with 'immediate confirmation'! This is simply not true, and you are being misled. Accommodation

The cosy yet spacious Maldives villas are attractively decorated in tropical shades, complimented by crisp white linen, polished wooden floors and contemporary yet rustic wooden furniture. Romantic white curtains surround all of the four-poster beds.

The welcoming atmosphere and comfortable rooms reflects the essence of Filitheyo. Here, you can choose from three villa categories to suit your requirements; beachfront Superior Villas and Deluxe Villas or Water Villas suspended over the turquoise ocean. Families or groups of friends can request interconnecting Superior Villas. 

Traditional swinging chairs known as ´udolis´ adorn the sundecks of the water villas, which all face towards the sunset. Some of the water villas also feature Jacuzzis. Within a couple of steps from your Superior or Deluxe Villa you can be in the ocean. All of the beach accommodation includes a private sundeck, day bed and beach furniture.

Superior Villas
Located on the beachfront, these semi-detached villas feature a king size four poster bed or twin beds, private sundeck with day bed and semi-open-air bathroom with outdoor shower. Interconnecting rooms can be requested for families and groups.

Deluxe Villas
The detached Deluxe Villas are stand alone on the beachfront. Features include a king size four-poster bed or twin beds, private sundeck with day bed and semi-open air bathroom with outdoor shower and bathtub.

Water Villas
Standing on stilts over the lagoon, the spacious water villas are furnished with a king size four poster bed or twin beds, a large bathroom with a jacuzzi, day bed and a private sundeck with a traditional ‘udoli’ (swing chair) and private steps leading directly into the water.

The All-Inclusive supplement includes

  • Lunch served at the Main Restaurant, Afternoon Tea/Coffee with snacks served at the a la carte restaurant and dinner served at the Main Restaurant.

The Main Restaurant is a spacious pavilion. Here you can dine upon an imaginative buffet menu from around the world, from classic dishes to exotic delights. Chefs are also on hand at live cooking stations to tailor their fresh dishes to your liking.

Sunset Restaurant and Bar 
The Sunset Restaurant and Bar is one of the best spots at Filitheyo to watch the spectacular sunsets. It´s located on the tip of the island adjacent to the turquoise ocean. This restaurant offers an international a la carte menu. The delicious dishes are complimented by a wide selection of European and New World wines as well as cocktails and juices. Guests can sit under the shady pavilion or sit in the pool at the swim-up bar.

Filitheyo Bar
Filitheyo Bar is framed by the beach on one side and a Japanese-style pond on the other. With a tropical beach vibe and sandy floor, Filitheyo Bar offers a variety of spirits, wine and beer and you can choose to sit either inside or outside on the beach. ​

Experience

At Filitheyo, there’s plenty to entertain anyone who likes to keep active. The house reef that encircles the island is one of the highlights of the resort and a delight for snorkelers and divers alike. Plunge into the water and discover a stunning coral garden bursting with life including colourful reef fish, turtles and sharks. There are seven access points to the outside edge of the reef, while the closest edge lies just meters from the shore.

The Water-sports Centre also provides further opportunities to enjoy the magnificent lagoon, with canoeing and stand-up paddling. On land, you can enjoy volleyball, table-tennis, darts, billiards and board games. 

Those who like to keep in shape can use the small but well-equipped air-conditioned gym, where a personal trainer is also available. There is also a small library adjacent to the ornamental pond; a peaceful spot for quiet reading.

Spa

At Filitheyo you can experience one of the most beautiful spas in the Maldives. The jungle spa is nestled in the heart of the island, surrounded by lush foliage and stunning tropical gardens. Surrounded by verdant vegetation and exotic birdsong, the spacious air-conditioned spa treatment rooms have glass walls on three sides. From here you can take in the spectacular views and discover an array of treatments. Alternatively, you can have your treatment in the open air, under the shade of a pagoda.
