This ambitious restoration and conversion project of these historic manor houses was undertaken with the vision of embodying the cultural renaissance that has swept the Emirate.

Location

Sharjah is the only emirate that enjoys breathtaking coastal views – the Arabian Gulf on the west, and the Gulf of Oman in the east. It is also often referred to as the cultural seat of the UAE and in 1998 was named UNESCO’s Arab Capital of Culture. The Chedi Al Bait’s location in Sharjah makes it accessible to the city of Dubai (a 20-minute car ride) and also GHM’s sister property – The Chedi Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman, which is an hour’s flight away.

Al Bait Heritage Suite
The hotel’s only two Al Bait Heritage Suites are each thoughtfully endowed with authentic heritage details between the wizened walls of the Bait Abdul Rahman Al Midfa historical house. Generous personal space here is appointed with ornate Arabian design influences in the distinctive four poster bed and the room’s ultra plush majlis area, meaning ‘place of sitting'.
